Wedding Venue Near Gatlinburg, TN: The Barn at Chestnut Springs
The Smokies Wedding, Without the Parkway Crowds
Gatlinburg is where a lot of love stories start: a honeymoon, a family trip every fall, a proposal at an overlook in the national park. If you want to get married in the mountains, you still want the day itself to be quiet and private. The Barn at Chestnut Springs is about 25 minutes from Gatlinburg, on thirteen wooded acres in the foothills outside Sevierville, and the whole property is yours for twelve hours.
Spend the weekend in a Gatlinburg cabin, then drive out to a ceremony beneath the trees.

Mountain Ceremony, Real Barn Reception
The Wooded Cove
Guests sit on the grass beneath the canopy, and the trees do the decorating before a single flower is placed. The reception is a short walk away.
The Barn, Built in 1954
Exposed post-and-beam framing, vaulted ceilings, chandeliers and climate control, for up to 120 guests. Reclaimed wood from other historic barns runs throughout, and the barn stands on land once owned by Dolly Parton's parents.
The Courtyard After Dark
Bistro lights stretch overhead, the stacked-stone fireplace anchors the evening, and dancing spills outside. It's the one place on the property where an open flame is allowed outdoors.
A Rain Plan That's Already Set
Mountain weather is part of the deal. If the forecast turns, the ceremony moves under the covered pavilion, which seats up to 90, or inside the barn.
