What’s Really Included in a Smoky Mountain All-Inclusive Wedding (and What It Costs)

By The Barn at Chestnut Springs ·

An all-inclusive wedding package in Sevierville, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge usually covers the venue, food, bar service, a coordinator, music, flowers, a cake, and setup and cleanup, all under one contract. Photography, your officiant, hair and makeup, and the alcohol itself are often still yours to book. The published packages we reviewed nearby ran from about $12,000 for 60 guests to about $19,500 for 150 guests.

At the Barn, all-inclusive starts at $20,905 for 40 guests with The Springs, venue and tax included. The rule that matters most anywhere: compare full totals, not starting prices.

A Real Example: Our Published Prices

At the Barn, totals for 40 to 120 guests include the venue and tax: The Essentials $8,450 to $11,450, The Springs $20,905 to $29,887, and The Chestnut $40,482 to $51,961. The Essentials is the lighter option; catering, flowers and cake are yours to arrange with it. Planning a dry wedding, with no bar service and no alcohol brought in? Check the dry wedding box in our price calculator; The Essentials then starts from $7,150 for 40 guests.

What’s Often Left Out Elsewhere

“All-inclusive” means something different at every venue. Even good packages usually leave a few things for you to choose. Ask about each one before you sign:

  • Photographer and videographer. Your most personal pick, so many venues leave it to you.
  • Officiant, hair and makeup. Often outside the package.
  • The alcohol. Many venues include bartenders but have you buy the bottles. Ask who buys it, who serves it and what happens to leftovers.
  • Event insurance. Some venues require a one-day liability policy.
  • Setup and teardown. Make sure it’s covered, so no one you love is stacking chairs at midnight.
  • Tax, service charges and tips. The quote you love may not include them. Zola says hidden costs typically add 9 to 15% beyond vendor quotes.

What Couples Spend

According to The Knot 2026 Real Weddings Study, which surveyed 10,474 couples married in 2025, the average wedding cost $34,200. Couples spent about $292 per guest, with an average of 117 guests.

Venue Only at the Barn

Venue-only rentals are available. They require a professional, insured wedding coordinator. If you serve alcohol, it must be served by one of our preferred bartending vendors, and an off-duty officer is on site for the bar hours, which we arrange and add to your final balance. Our FAQ covers the rest.

All-Inclusive vs. Venue Only: How to Compare

  • Price the same guest count and date at every venue.
  • Add tax, service charges and tips to anything that doesn’t include them.
  • Add every vendor the package doesn’t cover, using real quotes where you have them.
  • Count the contracts. One contract and one retainer is simpler to manage than eight.
  • Ask what happens on the day. Who sets up, who runs the timeline, who cleans up, and where the ceremony goes if it rains.

What Couples Have Said

4.7 out of 5 on Google from 99 reviews, as shown in October 2026. These reviews are from weddings before our all-inclusive packages.

“The Barn is perfect! Indoor and outdoor options for large and small ceremonies, plenty of parking and the staff go above and beyond to make your day perfect!”

How Booking and Payments Work

Most venues hold your date with a signed contract and an upfront payment. At the Barn, that is a retainer of 50% of the venue rental, non-refundable, and the balance is split into four equal installments. Your contract matches your quote line for line, with no hidden fees.

So, Is All-Inclusive Worth It?

If you want to know your full number early and hand the logistics to one team, an all-inclusive package is usually the clearer choice. If you already have vendors you love, a venue-only rental with a good coordinator can work well.
